A WANDERFUL WEEKEND

It's crazy to think about the time I've spent in delhi (3 months) and the time I've spent really exploring Delhi. They're not quite proportional. For whatever reason, I've gotten into the groove of sticking around my neighborhood and the nearby areas, which has left much of delhi for me to explore. Two weekends ago, I decided I would make a change. I would explore new neighborhoods each weekend (assuming I would have free time).

Last weekend I decided to head over to Lodhi Road. A friend recommended the site little black book delhi which has now become my go-to when I'm looking for something exciting in the city. Thankfully, they made this lovely Lodhi Road guide which i took notes from before heading off on my adventure. I spent the entire day in this area! I just wandered by myself and it felt great. I walked up and down lodhi road, popped into a few markets, admired the bungalows, and chilled in lodhi gardens. I made a stopover at the alliance français delhi for a cup of coffee and discovered a great calendar of events! I ended the day with a walk through the very posh khan market and headed home. It was a refreshing day for me. I felt energized after doing some solo city exploring and just loved the exercise I got.

Now time to plan my next neighborhood adventure! stay tuned :)
