ABOVE: my first live show in delhi (peter cat recording co.)


It's taken me three months, but I'm finally figuring out ways to make delhi feel more like home. One thing I definitely miss from back home is the variety of concert options. I'm used to having a range of local and national acts to catch around town. In delhi, I'm not quite familiar with the music scene and it's taken me some time to find band(s) that I like. A few weekends ago I saw that the band above was playing a show near my house. This was the first local band I actually heard a bit of, and I liked it! The band was playing a free show a a nearby venue and it was a blast. I felt more in my element just being at the show. The music was good, there was a nice (but not overwhelming) crowd, and the performance was fun. All in all making for a great night out!

This week is delhi gig week. I'm excited to catch a show or two around town, maybe discover some new bands! Little by little I'm getting closer to my 'natural' element here...
